Q: Is Homefront: The Revolution being pushed for its single-player campaign, or is it more focused on delivering an immersive multiplayer experience?Ī: We're definitely focused on delivering an excellent single player campaign. At this time we don't have anything to announce regarding single player DLC. We are committed to supporting Resistance Mode and so we can never plan to charge for additional content. All of the content we produce for Resistance Mode will be completely free to everyone who has the game. This will start to roll out just after launch and will continue well into 2017. Q: What are the plans for DLC releases? Will there be any free content?Ī: We are planning a minimum of 12 months DLC support for our co-operative Resistance Mode. We go back all the way to the 1950's and detail the timeline to show what happens in both Korea and America to result in the events of the game in 2029. We kept the core concept of an occupied America and started re-writing our history of events. People had mixed feelings about the original, especially the narrative, so we stripped back everything and essentially started from scratch. Q: What is this game being launched as a reboot of the Homefront franchise instead of just being a direct sequel?Ī: When we started the project all those years ago, we knew that the IP had a lot of potential.
